Highstreet deployed Oracle PeopleSoft’s Financial Aid Software in Peralta to replace costly and inflexible legacy IT systems while providing students with new financial aid self-service capabilities. By decommissioning its cumbersome legacy student financial aid system, Peralta achieved significant cost savings, including more than 118 percent increase in student financial aid award disbursements over prior years.
Reliance Standard Life Insurance (RSL) is a leading insurance carrier specializing in innovative employee benefits solutions. RSL needed to replace its legacy financial system RSL’s unsupported legacy financial system created a few challenges for the project. Mainly, the legacy GL portion had multiple systems feeding into it even for a single business process like approving and paying a claim. To solve this we implemented Oracle R12 eBusiness Financial Accounting Hub, GL, AP, FA, PO, and iProcurement, facilitating processing policy administration and claims transactions through the Financial Accounting Hub to create accounting transactions based on reusable, consistent rules and a process for reconciling GL accounts across disparate source transactions using FAH transaction data.
